This Week in News (...continued from front page) After the question and answers the Mayor and Board took the local realtors on a full tour of the Park at East Hills. The reaction ranged from praise to awe. One realtor, Gail Zuckerman of Century 21 Laffey, who had seen and used the sports facilities earlier, said "the benefit of moving to East Hills is now profoundly clear. The character of the community has been transformed and the Village now has a major and unique selling point." All residents receive memberships free because the costs are built into their taxes. The banner read: "The Park East Hills - A Grandstand Homerun for Home Values." Shown, along with the Mayor, are, from left to right Trustee Peter Zuckerman, Trustee Manny Zuckerman, and Trustee Gary Leventhal. The local real estate executives included representatives from Century 21 Laffey Associates, Caldwell Banker, Daniel Gale, Roslyn Realty, Re/Max, and Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate. |
