Kids In The Park Holds Spellbinding Animal Adventures Program
On Sunday, January 23, 2012, over 150 residents and guests gathered at the Village Theatre to see two Animal Adventures shows. Both children and adults alike were entertained by Nature Nick's very comical routines interspersed with interesting facts about close to 15 different animals from across the globe. From a miniature wallaby from Australia, to a Toucan named Fruit Loops, the kids were captivated by animals that they were able to see up close. Photos of the children with Tinkerbelle, the fox, were available to bring home as a souvenir, which was a really memorable way to remember the event. Mayor Koblenz once again praised the Kids in the Park committee members for "organizing and holding another wonderful event for the community."
